Larry D. Lahman Biography
 
Larry Lahman was born in Carmen, Oklahoma, on October 24, 1943.  He attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University receiving a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics in 1965.

Larry subsequently attended graduate school at Oklahoma State University as well as the University of Maryland, North Carolina State University, Central Oklahoma State University and Phillips University. He also received a Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 1973.

Larry is admitted to practice before all Oklahoma state courts, the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, the United States Court of Military Appeals and the United States District Court for the Western and Northern Districts of Oklahoma. He has served as a member of the Garfield County, Oklahoma and American Bar Associations, the Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity and Blue Key Honorary Fraternity.

Larry was a parachutist and infantry officer with the U.S. Army Special Forces – the Green Berets – in Vietnam, Cambodia, Korea and South America retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserves. He holds a Combat Infantryman's Badge, two Bronze Stars, a Meritorious Service Medal, two Army Commendation Medals, an Air Medal and other decorations and awards for his 26 years of military service.

Larry served as President of the Garfield County Bar Association, President of the Enid Lions Club, Chairman of the Enid Salvation Army Advisory Board, Republican County Chairman and Presidential Elector for Reagan in 1984.

He has a unique and widely varied practice representing individuals in the bankruptcy court, against large corporations in class actions and in litigation involving State and Federal False Claims Acts.  He is currently involved in major class action cases in Arkansas, Massachusetts, Missouri and Texas.

Larry is an inventor with United States Patent 6,550,491 issued to him by the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Larry has written numerous articles for the Oklahoma Bar Journal and often lectures and provides Continuing Legal Education for other lawyers. His most recent publications were entitled:  "Bad Mules:  A Primer on the Federal and Michigan False Claims Acts" appearing in the November 2009 issue of the Michigan Bar Journal and and "Bad Mules: A Primer on the Federal False Claims Law" and appeared in the April 2005 issue of the Oklahoma Bar Journal.
